Life is worth it!

I currently serve as the state treasurer for West Virginians For Life, and, as such, I write for a little column in the Life  Matters publication. The following is my most recent contribution:

I once heard Dr. Wanda Franz mention that back when Roe v Wade was first handed down, pro-life folks were told something along the lines of, “OK, you can go home now and stop your work. It’s over. You’ve lost.” Right close to 50 years’ worth of work later, when Roe v Wade was finally overturned, pro-life folks were told something along the lines of, “OK, you can go home now and stop your work. It’s over. You’ve won.” Both voices were wrong, and both had something in common: trying to get all defendants of the sanctity of life to just shut up and quietly accept whatever horrible efforts were being made against life, without any “fight.” We’ve always had to carefully adapt as quickly as possible to the reality of our current situation, but no matter that situation, we’ve advocated tirelessly for life. Life is worth it. As we continue the fight, current circumstances now reveal a pressing need for educating the public about the dangers of chemical abortions (Mifepristone, also known by its developmental code name “RU-486”). May God grant us the resources and abilities to achieve an overwhelming victory in uncovering lies and expounding truth. Lives depends on it. Life is worth it! Your donated time, talent, and treasure has perhaps never been more important!
